10 YEARS STRONG! CELEBRATION

On Saturday, September 15, 2018, our community gathered at The Heritage of Sherborn to celebrate 10 Years Strong and to honor the passion and dedication of our co-founder Judy Shea.

A big thank you to everyone who made our 10 Years Strong Celebration a big success! We raised $40,000 because of your generosity and Judy Shea was the highlight of the evening.  We are so proud to honor her for her passion and dedication to Embrace a Family over the years.  Judy felt the love that evening.

A special thanks to Group Therapy for providing the music for the evening.

STRIVERS MOTHER'S DAY 5K

May 2014-2018

The STRIVERS Mother’s Day 5K race was a unique event, bringing out the best in the MetroWest Community. Mother’s Day started off each year with the “gift” of an early morning run with great company!

Moms, daughters, sisters, and girlfriends used this race day as a way to restore, refill, and replenish. Dads, sons, brothers, uncles, boyfriends, came and supported those women important in your life.

Thank you Colleen Phelps, Kathy Landry and Strivers Running Club for Girls for your hard work and generous donations over five years totaling nearly $20,000.

SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

The Natick Men’s Softball League organized a One-Pitch Softball Tournament two years in a row.

Paul Adams, President of the league and commissioner Rodney Spinazola were instrumental in putting these events together.  The winners were given a bright Pink Softball Bat with our logo on it and tee-shirts generously designed and donated by John Connolly. Thank you John.

Thank you to Bills Pizza, Lola's, Pizza Peddler and Agostino’s for the pizza donations and Framingham Brueggers Bagels for their generous donation of bagels and cream cheese!

So many came out to cheer on the players and so many volunteered.  We had a lot of fun and certainly a lot of laughs.  Kids were busy with face painting, tattoos, nail painting and friendship bracelets when they weren’t busy cheering on their favorite team.

The Natick Men’s Softball League has continued to generously donate over the years.  Thank you so much for your continued support.
